Presenting Blind Coding, a simple coding competition where you’ll be given even simpler problems to code. Sounds too easy? It isn’t! The catch is that you will be forbidden to look at your
code!
INSTRUCTIONS
The event consists of two rounds:
1. Prelims
- This is an eliminating round.
- The round consists of simple coding problems.
- Participants will be given 20 mins to solve the given problem.
2. Mains
- Qualifying teams will be given problems slightly harder than the prelims round.
- Participants will be given 30 mins to solve the problem.
RULES
- Each team will have two members.
- 5-6 teams will be selected for the Mains Round.
- Performance in each round will be evaluated based on the results of compilation and execution.
- Participants will be given score out of 15.
- In case of draw, the team with better code quality will be given preference.
- Participants will be allowed to turn their screen on twice for 30 seconds, but with the penalty of 3 points each time.
- Decision made by the event organizers will be final and binding.
- Any arguments and/or nuisance caused to the organizers will not be tolerated.
- The result of the prelims will be declared on the same day and teams that qualify for mains will compete on Day 2 of Sankalan.
